Chandler Hoffman, Psy.D. is a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in working with families and children. He earned his Psy.D. in 1998 at the California School of Professional Psychology and was licensed in 2000. He worked in the court system for 14 years practicing mediation and supervising mediators in both the Juvenile and Family Court. Dr. Hoffman built his private practice around working with parents and children going through divorce and specializes in non-adversarial and collaborative processes that help the entire family accommodate to the challenges and new experiences of creating two homes. He takes a family systems approach to therapy and focuses on creating positive relationships with children and helping parents do the same. Dr. Hoffman is very involved in collaborative practice as a divorce coach and child specialist, provides mediation and co-parening therapy as well parent coordination to high conflict custody cases and practices in Downtown Oakland and San Francisco.
